Transferring badges from one account to another

Contacted support recently about a 2fa lockout to which I was obviously told, "we can do nothing except delete or disable your account"; and asked if it was possible to transfers my early supporter badge. I was again told no but was asked to leave a suggestion on here for it. It would be something only support themselves can do as to not be abusable by users, and would even say only make it doable if you forfeit the account the badges are coming from as a way to not duplicate them. Or perhaps have them removed from the account they are coming from as people may not want to delete the accounts but just have the badges moved. I haven't really seen any posts regarding this with much traction and so I thought I'd make a post with the hopes of more people seeing it. Not entirely sure why they can't do anything about 2fa lockout when many others such as steam can do it within a few days and are more than happy to do it but oh well what can you do. Hopefully someone sees this and does something about it as its extremely frustrating when something out of your control happens and you lose an account with many unobtainable things on it.
