Desktop app issue

Hello Discord I just wanted to submit this idea or maybe is counted as a request too. The desktop app really needs something to be added The thing is when u minimize discord ur status should be changed to offline I'm having trouble with that because there are times I wanna contact my friends and they seem to be online and when I ask them on why they do not respond they say like the tab is just there minimized on my pc and I'm not using the app at the moment and simply they cannot close and reopen it every single time they wanna go offline and back again. I hope this reach outs to u and try to solve the problem because the whole status is now meaningless in pc.
