Custom emoji for channel names

Ability to add custom emojis into channel names would be super nice and visually pleasing for it gives more space for individuality of a server.

  Yes I think this is a good idea but there is a catch how will users mention the channel if the # is replaced by 1 emoji?

  This would make it very difficult for moderators and server administrators.
  (I'm not saying your idea is bad). Your idea is good but we have to think about other factors before putting something cool and epic I like the idea but there has to be something so we can mention the channel.
