Message Requests
For the love of the ancestors, PLEASE remove message requests.
It is of ABSOLUTELY no use, makes the interface more inaccessible and messy and just generally unnecessarily shatters conversations. I don't know whose idea this horrible “feature” was in the first place, but to my extensive displeasure, all the mainstream social media started implementing it. And I am most unhappy that my favorite one ultimately fell to this madness as well.
This post is more of a rant than anything, but if message requests were actually removed, I would take it as a small miracle.

what do you mean remove it??? its the best thing they added, me as a content creator was suffering from all the spam messages they saved my life
and no i dont wanna turn off messages cuz i wanna reply to some of them

but if you want to disable it for your self only
do this:Server dropdown menu > Select Privacy Settings > Toggle off “Message Requests”

I agree with Baptík, we need a universal toggle to disable Message Requests feature across all servers.
I know I can do it for each server, but I'm in more than 90 servers.
I also think it makes the interface unlogical.
Moreover, from now on, if someone doesn't answer me, it doesn't just mean he doesn't want, it can be because he didn't see my message, and I have to post in general chan with tagging to be sure someone has read my message.
Just today, I've seen I had an unread message from 2 days ago.
Overall, unhappy about that feature, but very unhappy because there's no possibility to disable that feature across all servers.
