What is the Snowsgiving sound pack?
Snowsgiving sound pack availability: December 8, 2022 - January 3, 2023.
The Snowsgiving sound pack is an optional feature that will customize your desktop client notification sounds. This is available for everyone to enjoy during the wintery season!
Note: The Snowsgiving sound pack is optional!
The available sounds for this Winter Pack are the following
- New Message
- User Join
- User Leave
- Outgoing Call
- Incoming Call
- Stream Started
- Stream Stopped
- Voice Disconnected
- User Moved
- PTT Activate
- PTT Deactivate
How do I enable a Sound Pack?
You may need to update your Discord app to the latest version. Make sure to update and restart your app just in case.
1. Head into your User Settings - just press the cog icon in the bottom left corner of the app.
2. Then press on Notifications in the left sidebar.
3. Scroll down to the Sound section until you see the Sound Pack drop down menu. Choose Snowsgiving 2022 to enable the Winter theme for your client.
How do I customize which notification sounds I'd like to hear?
To enable specific notification sounds, you can press on the slider button right beside each individual notification option within the same Notification settings menu.
How do I test out different sounds?
If you'd like to taste test all the different sounds, you can directly press the volume icon that will appear when you hover over a specific sound option!
How do I disable the Sound Pack?
Go to Notifications under User Settings, scroll down to the Sound section, and choose Classic from the drop down menu instead of Snowsgiving 2022.
