Facebook on Chrome crashes then Discord App Reopens Suddenly

I have Discord closed, but it's running in the background. Every time my Facebook Chrome tab crashes, Discord suddenly opens again. Why is this the case? I suspect it has something to do with faulty RAM where maybe my apps using RAM reopen and close, such as Discord?
