Discord Lags Massively when I look at a channel with hundreds of messages from a blocked user

Hi, so the request is simple. I blocked the bot MEE6 because it really frustrates me, and I clicked on a server's #welcome, and now I can't click anywhere else because my discord basically crashed. Can you make it not crash like this?

  Discord does not usually delete spam messages, but I think it needs to be deleted or we will have a lot of lag.

  Coming across this problem too, with numerous (70+) blocked messages causing discord to hang/freeze.

  I made the same mistake in a server that has massive bot spam, now I can't launch discord without it locking up.
