Let us turn an existing conversation into a thread

I noticed that more than half the time that you want to make a thread, its AFTER a conversation has already started a long while ago, at which point it would feel silly to create one afterwards, and would also miss out on a big chunk of the conversation. Please let us turn past chunks of messages INTO a thread, it would make this feature so much more useful!
