Customizable Landing

When launching mobile app, I would like to land on the list of my chats/servers, not inside last opened chat/server. Current system is highly inconvenient in case where one wants to come back to a certain chat/server later and leave it as unread for the time being. I would like to choose myself which chat/server I would like to check first.
