Pinning messages

I would LOVE to be able to pin a message to the bottom of my chat. So when anyone posts a message, the pinned message would stay at the bottom. I am a mod in a discord and having to repost the same thing gets so annoying and having the current pinning system does not help bc no one reads it

    yes! kind of like how it is on amino, id worry that it could end up being too intrusive, but if its just subtle but still noticable enough itd be endlessly useful because people ALWAYS FORGET TO READ CHANNEL DESCRIPTIONS

    a temporary workaround for this could probably be a bot that keeps deleting and resending the same message anytime someone leaves a message in a certain channel, although idk what bot can do this, if anyone knows any lmk because id actually be interested in this

    Yessss. I just want to be able to time someone out and not post the same message 100 times. I’m a mod in a discord and it’s made it 1000x harder to do anything bc no one reads 🙄


    I thought about the bot, but we have 1000s of people in our discord so that would be a lot of pings.

    yeah thats the problem with that and also the thing that has kinda kept me from actively looking into a bot like that, always thinking theres a new message when its just an automatic bot thing would be annoying :/
