allow third party clients, which must be approved by discord
### Feature Proposal: Allow Third-Party Clients on Discord
Discord could consider allowing third-party clients, subject to approval by Discord, and then hosted on Discord's download page.
This feature not only adds variety but also caters to users who enjoy customizing their client. While these customizations remain local, a potential paid feature could allow users to set their server theme.
#### Example with BetterDiscord themes:
Let's assume I, as a user of a Discord-approved third-party client downloaded directly from Discord, choose a client supporting custom themes. If I wish to use the GGO Kirito theme for the server, I'd require Nitro+ for $20 a month or $216 a year (10% discount for annual subscription).
#### Addressing a Major Flaw:
These custom clients could address a major flaw in Discord - token grabbing malware. Currently, Discord has one client, and the token storage method has remained the same for years. Even malware from four years ago still works for the default client.
Allowing third-party clients empowers developers to implement their protective measures, significantly raising the bar for creating functional malware.
That's a win for Discord!
Now Discords workload should be lighter, and now you've even topped off several other platforms, which simply cannot have this level of customizability, and for the cherry on top, you'd have an amazing feature to market that just about everyone that uses and will ever use Discord will love.

to specify, allowing local theme should be free, but to also push the theme to a server would require Nitro+ in this example.
