How do I create a social channel on Discord?

Decide whether you want to create a new server for your social channel or use an existing one. If you're creating a new server, click the "+" button on the left sidebar in Discord and select "Create My Own". If you're using an existing server, skip to step 4.

Set Up Your New Server: If you're creating a new server, follow the prompts to set it up. You'll need to give your server a name, upload an optional server icon, and select your server region.

Navigate to Server Settings: Once you're in your server, right-click on the server name at the top left corner of the screen and select "Server Settings".

Create a Text Channel: In the Server Settings menu, click on the "Channels" tab. Then, click the "+" button next to "Text Channels". Give your channel a name (e.g., "General Chat", "Social Hangout", etc.) and click Calculator "Create Channel".
