How can I set up a Discord social channel?

Choose whether to use an already-existing server or build a new one for your social media channel. In Discord, click the "+" button on the left sidebar and choose "Create My Own" to start a new server. Go to step 4 if you're utilising an already-existing server.

Configure Your New Server: If this is your first time setting up a new server, just follow the instructions. It is necessary for you to choose your server region, submit an optional server icon, and give your server a name.

Proceed to the Server Settings by right-clicking on the server name in the upper left corner of the screen and choosing "Server Settings" after you've entered your server.

To establish a Text Channel, select the "Channels" tab from the Server Settings menu. Then, select "Text Channels" by clicking the "+" button. After giving your channel a name (such as "Social Hangout," "General Chat," etc.), click Calculator "Create Channel."
