Discord locked to 60fps when Hardware acceleration is disabled

When you disable hardware acceleration in appearance settings, discord runs at 60fps on 144hz displays.
Is there a way to make discord v-sync or set a custom framerate to run at?

(No it's not my system that's lagging, i7 8700k @ 5.1ghz + GTX 1060 @ 2.1ghz)
