A Non Chromium Version of the Client...

Discord is a really great communication software used by gamers mostly but one of the main problems is that for low end pc, the ram and cpu usage can really use like 90% just by getting in a call due to Chromium.
I tried once an unofficial client (don't do it it's against the ToS) and it was working better and didn't use all my cpu and ram...
Of course it had a lack of feature and was not as good as the official client but it was light and running without lags on my pc...
So, I think an important point would be to make a Discord version not based on Chromium.
PS: I don't use the client anymore, don't ban me for the client, you would lose a really early discord user just for trying to get a better experience of Discord :(

Discord is based on Electron, so it's not directly Chromium based. However, it's very unlikely to be rebuilt on another platform or framework. -1 -

I don't think they will ever do that, but i would really love to have something not eating my entire ram, i use discord and spotify on firefox because both are chromium based, which is a no no for me
