Granular channel management permissions

I would love to see some further granulation of channel management permissions. Similar to Slack, I would like my users to be able to create and delete their own channels at will so they can create their own spaces to branch into. But I don't want them being able to delete each other's channels or my channels.

 

Making this ability a "soft delete" similar to Slack's archive would be even more awesome so I could bring back any channel a user deletes.

    I'd also like to be able to do this at a folder level. Right now, we use the server for keeping track of various roleplaying games. I'd like the "GM" of a specific game to have full control over a folder, but not anything else. As weird as it sounds, I'd also like them to be able to make channels that I'm not a part of.

    That is - I could maybe take some action (since I am the server admin) that allows me to delete/modify the channels they make, but by default, I'd like to be excluded from those channels so that I don't spoil things for the games.

    So yeah we want all of the games in this one server to keep things easier to keep track of, but I'd like to give "full control" on a folder level over to someone else.
