Muting notifications from certain people in text channels

For example you want notifications on for a specific text channel. I want to recieve those notifications on my phone etc. Everybody occasional talks in it but only one person likes to spam or talks in ladders. It would be nice to mute that one person, similar to muting dms because i don't want to mute the whole text channel. Therefore you can mute that person in the text channel so you don't get the phone vibrating or sound when they suddenly

    I am looking for this feature as well, I want to be notified about new messages in a channel EXCEPT from one person who spams and I would prefer to have notifications muted for (though I don't want to block them)

    Please Discord make this a thing. When you're in a channel with hundreds of people there's always going to be people who you don't care what they have to say. Really not helped by constant notifications from certain people turning my phone into a vibrator!
