Ping slowly rising

I was streaming a video for my friends then suddenly had 5000 ping. I disconnected and reconnected but now I get over 200 ping and it slowly keeps rising and rising, I've tried looking it up but don't know the issue... what is it and is it something I could solve or need to wait for a solution?
