I need Help!

There is this server I love. I've been on it for at least a year and had a great time on it. And out of nowhere I wasn't in the server. Then whenever I got a invite it said "The user is banned from this guild" . I then discovered that one of my brothers got banned in the server I loved and I then got an IP ban. I did create an alt and joined the server just fine and that confused me. I also just downloaded a VPN for the first time and changing IP's does nothing. I have been talking with the mods and admins of my server and they unbanned my brothers account. I have also tried switching emails and also trying a VPN but that doesn't help too! I really want this to be fixed so if anyone has any information about this I would love to hear it.
