Feature suggestion: Custom notifications by role

This would add the feature to create custom notification groups. Say I have role A who should receive notifications from Channel A. Currently, people in role A are forced to manually set notifications, which can be complicated to new users. What I am suggesting is a role setting in which roles can be configured to create notification overrides for any user with that role.
