Condensed UI

When I want to DM just a single friend, the list of online friends takes up a lot of space. When I want to just talk on a single channel in a group chat, the list of channels takes up a lot of space. An option to condense this part of the UI would be nice.

The list of online users in a group chat also takes up a lot of space. An option to condense this part would be useful too.

I like it when IM clients just take a small amount of space on my desktop so I can multitask more easily, and this would help out a lot with that. =) Thanks for reading.
