Possible account hijack exploit

Apparently there is a new zeroday out there that allows a hacker to hijack an accounts token simply by sending a blank message. He then holds your account for Ransom and demands €30 for you to get it back. This has already happened to a lot of people. Idk if this is the right place to post this but if discord doesn't already know about it I'm here to bring it to their attention so it can get patched asap.

  how does he actually do it? there is no known way he can, unless you have betterdiscord and you blame discord for unsafe modifications to the client
