Newly Missing Feature - Video Embed Functionality

With the latest update embedded videos cannot be "right clicked" anymore - this removes the ability to save to a saved directory (the download icon only sends it to your downloads folder without a prompt, very annoying) and you can no longer loop videos, a near essential function for some scripts and simple ease of use. These functions were available until recently and the loss of this functionality is sorely missed. These are for embedded videos directly uploaded by the poster, not links or third-party-hosted videos (youtube, vimeo, etc). Please restore this functionality in a patch, as this seems to be a bug. Otherwise, I'd hope to hear any information about why this may have been removed.

 

I haven't done any robust testing, but this issue is manifesting on the latest version of Google Chrome.

  Feels like Discord is calling event.preventDefault() on the contextmenu event for video upload embeds. Rework that please! I'd also like to do browser-native things with video: loop, change speed, copy video url. Copying video URL means I can share to another server without reuploading the video.
