The new thread function

Hey Discord, I would like to give some feedback and make a suggestion about the new thread function for channels. First of all, I really like the idea of using threads. It can be really useful to push a discussion about a specific topic to another thread. But it's kind of overwhelming. It could get very complex and nested if every channel is able to have a lot of threads. My suggestion would be to have some kind of extra channel (or a list), just for threads. Every thread about every topic will be collected here and not in the channel in which the threads are created in. Like this, it will get very easy to find the threads and sort them by date or name e.t.c.. And if someone wants to join a specific thread, the person would just go to the list, find the thread the person wants to join and join it. Sounds much easier than having one list for every channel. It's just to complex and most people I know, agree with my opinion. I hope my suggestion will have a small impact for the future updates. Thank you for reading!

  Adding posts to a thread would be useful too. You're usyally several posts in before you realise a topic is worthy of a thread. Perhaps this is better achieved by tagging posts.
