Feature request: permanent online status

I would like that my status stays online and not automatically switch to offline after I close the app.

  I'm afraid that's not possible. The status feature is to show other people if you *are* online or offline. If that feature of "permanent online status" was added, people would ping or keep dm-ing you because they think you're online.

  Also, the online status feature is off of a script checking if you are on the app or not, if you're off the app it's not possible to show you are.

  I want people to dm me because I'm still online after I close the app. If I leave my status set to online before I close the app I want it to stay online after closing it.
