Missing Swipe / Sliding Navigation (Aug. 2021)

I use discord mobile on my ipad and with the new update (it just auto-installed on Aug. 25th, ‘21) the swipe / sliding menus no longer work. This is… frustrating.

I immediately turned off the auto-updating for apps on my iPhone because I do not want to lose this feature on my main device.
Being very busy with my hands, or wearing a glove on my other hand, removing this feature will make discord so much harder to use in my day-to-day life when I’m away from my desktop. I often have only one hand available to use my phone with and I try to be as quick as possible.
With the navigation buttons being at the top for mobile, it’ll be really difficult to use without the swiping/sliding.

This happened to me. After I updated the most recent discord iOS update it’s done this. If I close it (not force close) and open it back up it does that. It’s a glitch that should be fixed next update. Also when you open it, it says “connecting” all the time, even though my internet is good. Hope you get back to me
