More Elegant Chat Bar Icon Handling, Please

when i am typing long messages, they are squeezed into the left-hand side of the chat typing area, while the four icons (gift, gif, stickers, emoji) take up half the space, and create a big long wasted blank area under them.

can we 

A: have a preference to remove any/all of those icons from the chat bar?

or

B: at least put them somewhere less in the way, or reclaim that wasted blank space for long messages?
