Massive Battery Drain on Mobile from Latest Update

As the title suggests, after the most recent update to the app on IOS, my battery is draining far faster than ever. Last week I was able to go from 100% to 10% in like 9-10 hours, now I go from 100% to 10% in 4 hours. There is nothing wrong my device, it's only a few years old and is an iPad Pro. I don't see how this sudden massive change in battery drain would be caused by anything other than the recent app update that occurred at the start of this issue.
