App Bug with 2n1 (tablet/laptop)

When I'm using the desktop app on my Microsoft surface, the desktop app doesn't recognize the keyboard input correctly. When I start typing, a panel expands from the bottom. It's the same space as when I'm using it as a tablet, but the space is blank without key stroke input. So half of the app window becomes an unusable space. To get out of this, I have to scroll up on the left side of the app window and as soon as I start typing again, the empty panel pops up again. This doesn't happen if I'm using the browser version or if I'm using the Opera GX extension.
For now, is there some way to manually turn off the tablet mode for the Desktop App, so that it doesn't keep trying to recognize tablet input or whatever it's doing?
