Selective display of status

I wasn't sure what topic to put this under, but I think it would be nice if you could appear invisible to select individuals. For example, if you wanna lay low for a certain group of people or someone in particular, but have other friends on discord that you'd like to appear active to?

  Methinks that'd be a right bloody nuisance to implement, but I do think it'd be good if you could sorta... "whitelist" or "tag" people or something, basically a function/feature that makes it so they always see whether you're actually online or not. But being able to set your status on a per-user basis? Too much work, both for the devs to program and us users to, y'know, use.

   

  Honestly, I'd personally settle for an automatic flagging or such if a user set to invisible types a message to someone/some group, so that they'd see the user as online despite being invisible to others.

   

  ...but then again, I'm against that whole "being invisible" concept at the ground level. Don't wanna be bothered by others on social media? Just log out or turn off the application, I say.
