    There are settings to block DMs from anyone other than friends. Their are settings to block DMs from specific people you don't like.

    As for 'fixing' 'dumb' people being on Discord; They can not and should not try to get into policing personally miss matches or disagreements of opinion or different levels of education or anything else that would cause you to consider someone 'dumb'
