Popular Emoji Shortcut Changed

I've been using Discord for eons, and one of my favorite emojis keeps changing. In the beginning, this :-D used to return this . A few years ago it returned this . It took a while to get used to that, but at least the change was related. Yesterday I noticed it returned this . What in the world is that?? Why does this shortcut keep changing? Why couldn't you find something else for this new emoji? There is no chat system on earth that would give me that by typing :-d. This is not a good user experience.

    second it! Please give us the option to return to "old school" smiley convertion!

    I want to use :-) :-D ;-) etc. and get my beloved yellow smilies. Please!

    OMG!! Yes Hawkeye!! I totally forgot :-) got changed too. I finally got used to the new guy.
