Text chat jumping up when switching servers/channels

Text chat is doing a weird thing where, when I switch what server/channel I'm looking at, it'll sometimes pick up a few posts earlier than where I actually left off - even if I've read everything/marked it as read - and I have to scroll back down again. There doesn't seem to be any real pattern to where or when it occurs. Drives me bonkers.

    Started happening to me as well a few days ago.

    I noticed it only happens in channels with some form of recent media posts in it(uploaded pictures, web links with a preview/embed, tenor gifs) as if this content needed to reload making your view start above where you last left off. It also only happens in the discord app on desktop and has not happened to me in the web browser or mobile app versions yet.

    I have tried reinstalling the app but that has not solved the problem.

    Hope Discord notices this issue and this info can help with finding out whats going on.

    this started with me a few days ago and noticed that its jumping back to either the last post I made or the last post I interacted with

    Im having these issues 2 but it jumps back for between 2 to 4 days if not longer.
