(FYI: I have just now been in contact with the support and they have confirmed a bug that makes it possible to still be receiving friend requests, regardless of your settings).

1. a. I would like to see not appearing in anyone's DMs without my permission. So trying to message someone with that setting, you should be prompted about a failed destination. Or, it would maybe even be better if the "send message" button did not appear at all. Today it doesn't matter if you are friends; you will appear in their DMs and they will be able to see you updating your profile.

1. b. When you block a person, your profile should not be updated in that person's DMs.

2. I would like to see Discord investigate the possibility of having private calls. With the strong permission from the user/OS, the screenshotting and screen recording features are temporarily disabled (very limited in time and scope). So, in order to snap a photo of you, the other user would be required to use a different device. Many of us do not want our face proliferated on the internet. Even if the other person could use another device, it would then be made more apparent and it wouldn't necessarily be the full quality.
