Loading image, and inaccessibility

There are two issue with this software which are blatantly obvious to me.

First of all, I'd like to mention your ridiculous spinning icon upon loading. I am rather motion sensitive, and on the verge of being epileptic. I wish that it could be replaced with a static icon, or even just a 'loading' header. Every time I load the interface, I have to drag it below the bottom of the screen to hide the icon, because it discomforts me.

Also, a long recurring issue here: Whenever I click the X icon at the top right of the interface and it closes, I notice that when I leave it for more than a minute or so, it won't come back. I have to forcbly close the program via the Task manager, and have that awful icon reappear in my face, just because of the incompetence of the designers.

Could those who have control over the GUI please take into account these considerations, and pull their heads out of wherever it's stuck, to get these faults fixed?

    I think that the spinning icon has become Discord's trademark. It's hard to change it. Developers could create a mode for users, a minimalist mode. That would be feasible because personally, I really like observing that spinning icon.

    Well it's disrespectful. I'd like to see changes, instead of everything being ignored.
