Can't Turn Emoji Previews Off

So in your latest update you now advertise "more emojis with Nitro" or whatever whenever I type out an emoji. This is excessively annoying when I put an emoji at the end of a sentence, hit enter, and instead of sending the message it just pulls up the Nitro ad. Whatever, I'll just turn off the previews for emojis. However, switching it off did nothing and it's still very much a problem, and I don't think that's on my end. If there's another way to turn it off, though, I'm all ears.
