Discord embeds non-text files as text

If a file has a certain extension, discord thinks it's a text file and embeds it as text, leading to nonsenseif the same extension is being used by a different program not as a text file (specifically, the .st extension, which we use a lot, so it's very annoying.)

So it would help a lot if embedding was toggleable in any way (in user preferences, in server settings, per file, whatever), preferably by file extension, if possible.

    I also created a post for this but it's had no activity, so hopefully this gets read and addressed to. It definitely is frustrating...
