Change Input and output independently on iOS

Being able to chose them independently would actually be quite nice, I think it’s a lot more convenient for me to have my phone/tablet hooked up to my microphone instead of having it attached to my computer and having to move my keyboard and mouse back when i could just tap the mute button while the phone is on the side of my desk while i play (specifically on consoles since there’s no discord for them) and if i wanted to have my airpods as my headphones and my external mic plugged into them via an adapter it wouldn’t work, thoughts?
