Rebrand
Everything was perfect before. There wasn’t ANYTHING to simplify, the logo was already two colours and recognizable. The new logo makes it hard to tell what it even is. The new font is boring as hell and super ugly to look at. It makes me uncomfortable. Discord is becoming like every other social media app out there and it’s a horrible look. The past design? Beautiful, recognizable and not ugly. Brightening the colours also wasn’t a good idea. Go back before it’s too late, discord.

Not gonna line Discord's old logo and font was so much better. The i in the new one just looks so out of place and weird.. I really don't like where all this is going. The @ mention revamp, the reaction revamp, and now the logo & website font revamp.
And I totally agree with you LastMod, it looks like one of those Chinese knockoffs of Discord. Who cares if it wasn't symmetrical, who cares if it was old. Discord was Discord, a home to all gamers. We've lost the logo we all cherished and loved. The old blurple was lighter to the eye, and a lot more of a pastel colour. The new blurple looks out of place and doesn't fit with Discord at all. We've completely lost the old jagged edge Discord logo that was so familiar to us all, and it was perfectly fine. There was no need to make a rebranding, it was perfect the way it was. I'm really disappointed in where Discord is going right now. This probably won't make people leave the platform, since Discord is still great, but it just irks me every time I see the new logo and font. And who knows what else they'll do next. This is basically turning into one of those "Please don't turn me into an oversimplified logo" memes. Sorry Discord, but this isn't the right way to go.
