The Redesign- my feedback and mock up

Like many others I wasn't a fan of the new font, a few potential reasons why was the change in casing or the i. After comparing the new and old logo, as well as a look through my font library, I actually came to the conclusion that the lowercase d was the least appealing to me. I dabbled with the d and this is what I came up with [whilst writing this I would perhaps change the c a bit to fix the d, something to test out if you do revisit the redesign]. I also changed the i slightly, but you may have notice the disconnected letters- why did I do that? It was my attempt to bridge some of the qualities of the old to the new [the incomplete Ds], I did try others closer to the old design but this was the method I settled one.

I also saw @Wheatskins_ [on twitter], give feedback on the colour which I decided to incorporate, because I think it is a good easing suggestion, although I personally am not too bothered by it.
