Simplicity doesn't work with Discord.
The new font, color- I don't hate it, but I do not like it in the slightest either. My main issue is the color. This new shade of purple burns my eyes, and I genuinely cannot look at the "Discord" title in the top left of this page as I am typing because it just burns my eyes. On top of that, I understand the want to have a basic and simple font- but it took so much away from what Discord is meant to be. Discord was created for people to connect better while playing video games- it was made for gamers, and now it looks like it's the title of a toystore.
I completely understand the logo change- if it was asymmetrical, then that definitely creates a lot of problems- but Clyde lost more character and identity from the change. Why were the indents at the top of his head removed? Now it's just a block and the idea behind this was to make the logo have more of a "smile", but it now looks much less like one.
It's clear these changes will not be universally reversed, but please, PLEASE make a way for users to go back to the original Discord style. The original font, logo, color, etc.
Thank you.

They should never have changed their website to this light design, they would have been better off sticking with this old wonderful dark design... Their new font looks ugly and makes Discord look like some copied version of itself.

I agree with this. But Discord has changed from being a gamer's community to being just a chatting service, so I assume the font change has something to do with it. But it was stated as the picture shown here that their font change was to match with Clyde's new look.
Either way, the new colors are very unpleasant to look at, and the new font+logo is very disappointing to any OG user.

boba I can agree that Discord is just turning into a chat system now, but I think it's still incredibly wrong for Discord to completely change all the original features and give no way back for the OG users- it's like they've forgotten the community of people that brought the service to where it is today.
