About the new discord look
The rebrand was a bit unnecessary but while I do obviously prefer the old Clyde the new one is alright but I’ll stick with the original Clyde.
However the font just doesn’t look like Discord itself, just makes the company logo look like it’s directed towards kids.
If Discord changing the font and the logo isn’t an option at least have an option on your website and clients to change between the original design and rebrand design.

i have to say i dislike that you guys are littelary spamming this forum just for a small logo.
Ignore it. Its not gunna reduce ur life span. It deosnt make the company look more kid like. Discord does not advertises itself towards kids.
Spamming forums isnt going to do much. If it looks bad ignore it.

If you don't like the spam, just ignore it, it's not gonna reduce your life span either. This is the feedback page, and people leave their feedback here

Its not the logo that's the problem.
Its the font and the new blurple.9 -
I think the new logo is fine enough, though I feel an option to have the old Clyde would be neat if Discord wanted to do that. (Though of course Discord could have Clyde actually be symmetrical, if so.) Same goes with the font - embrace change, folks.
My main concern is the the new color - I feel this Blurple just a *little* too saturated for the service's comforting feeling. It's also just a little difficult to look at, which the same way I felt about the updates to light theme a year or two ago, where it's just a little too harsh a shade of white. I recommend a shade closer to #6976e0, as a compromise between the old and the new, while sticking to a lighter, softer tone that's easier on the eyes.
(If I'm not stretching myself too thin, I'd also say something like that for Light/Dark themes - I'd love to see a softer Light theme that grants more easy viewing.)
That said, if this new Blurple is here to stay? I can understand that. We'll probably all be used to it eventually - humans aren't great at change at first. But Wumpus is! Be like Wumpus.

i do agree with OP here, and believe me the last thing discord needs to do is look like its trying to appeal its self to children right now
