Unfortunately, it requires the use of modified clients such as BetterDiscord which break the Terms of Service. The best alternative is to voice your dissent on social media and central feedback threads such as the following:

I don't care what my personal client looks like. The branding defines the entire character of the platform, the communities it represents, the communities it creates, and the current and future spirit of its users. It's 50% of the reason Discord became popular in the first place, and in time people will begin looking for something else appropriate instead. The entire future of Discord has changed for the worse and it has become much easier for a new platform to replace it.
Adding a feature to switch to the old version will not fix this screw up.
