ill be honest here nobody wants the new logo, looks like absolute crap. that font is something an 8 y/o would use in a powerpoint presentation. in conclusion, give our eyes a break and go back from this terrible rebrand. (including the blindingly vibrant colors)

Yes I agree the redesign looks too childish for a place that requires you to be 13 and they removed the logos ears for no reason please change it back.

I don't see what's wrong with the logo ( btw Im a teen ). It just looks more friendlier ; I guarantee you any website that's serious has a friendly logo. Also its just a logo, not that it makes the WHOLE website 10x worse... if it upsets you then just don't look at it when opening the app or ignore it like lol you don't need to make a post about the logo.

branding is one of the key elements to a company. whats pissing me off is that they try to sell it as an "improved" and "friendlier" logo when all they did was deform our boi clyde so he looks more like a controller. i kinda feel like theyre starting to take the personality out of him too. i dont get how thats even friendly. they got better stuff to work on (that is not pointless changes) like the app crashing out of nowhere from time to time. trying to implement a friendlier look like that doesnt always work, it just ends up looking bottom of the barrel oversimplified. if we're gonna talk about the font, just compare it for yourself with the old one. i hope they come to a realization about the concept of "improvement".

Chill its just a logo, I think your point is that a logo is just gonna improve or make the app look worse, at least discord has many great features that your not realizing and you would rather complain on a logo then the actual issues and waste your energy :/

dude im like explaning actual things and you just go like “chill its just a logo”. Its their entire brand. ive already addressed one of the main issues with how the app functions.

The worst is that the new logo (at least in my phone) is low resolution and you can see the pixels. The old one was A LOT Better. I get that Discord has still great functions. That's why I'm using it. But the new "better" rebrand is everything but better. I would like that Discord changes it back, makes a new one and showes it to us in the app. Then a little textbox for suggestions and if we like it or not. But with the current logo, the entire internet ist making fun of it. It is just sad that discord downgradet by so much. The old logo was absolutely fine.
