Does Discord share data even with settings off?

Seen suggested suggestions that seem on coincidental on YT after posting in Discord. For instance. Said one instance of Alfred E Neuman, in Discord, and next day, suggested MAD TV video on YouTube. Coincidence only?

  Discord does this only to improve the Discord platform. If you do not want this, you can turn off these options in the privacy and security tab.

  This was noticed even with settings already OFF. As mentioned in title.
