Remove sticker suggestions when we type
When you are typing in a server chat and then certain words trigger the sticker suggestions where the server emotes button is, then you are unable to go in and choose a server emote. Please remove the sticker suggestion feature or move it somewhere where it won’t interfere with us not being able to put a server emote in our text.

Absolutely. This attempt to push the ugly stickers onto consumers is incredibly annoying and does not make anyone want to use stickers more than emojis.

Yes this! It’s becoming extremely annoying. Also I’m not sure we really needed stickers in the first place. With nitro we already get the emotes, and then everyone can use the gif keyboard i believe. So why? I really wish they would remove the sticker suggestions because you are making it harder to use the other emote options that we are already paying for.

In its current form, leaving sticker suggestions enabled breaks the use of emoji and GIFs. There seems to be no way to dismiss the sticker picker and switch to the emoji/GIF picker.
This is clearly a bug, because even people who might want to use stickers still want to retain the ability to use emoji.Personally, I would like to see an option to hide the sticker feature entirely. Nobody I know seems to like them (in fact, we are debating banning users who use them because they're so annoying and visually distracting).
Discord gets hundreds of dollars annually from me, breaking the emoji feature to get another $1.99 is insulting.
EDIT: The good news is that as of version 81.14, this issue is fixed. The bad news is that it's fixed because this version completely breaks sticker suggestions. There is no difference between having the "Enable sticker suggestions" toggle enabled or disabled. Stickers are still accessible via the third tab next to the emoji and GIF picker. A perfect solution from my perspective, but probably not what Discord intended.

Actually amazing watching this company monetize their product and go down the same paths as every other scummy business. Not that it was ever perfect, but cmon.

I'd love to turn off sticker suggestions but for some reason discord keeps turning it back on for me. I have turned it off 5 or 6 times now...

Yes please disable sticker suggestions by default. I find the popup really annoying when typing because it obscures the chat.

I specifically registered here just for this. STOP THAT CRAP! I am so annoyed that this setting is forcefully turned back on ALL THE TIME.
Fix this setting or i'm going to cancel my Nitro Subscription. You are now actively loosing money because of this shit.
