Suggestion: Blocked users are completely hidden from server list and more
To make it simple: If I block someone, it means I don't want to hear or see anything that reminds me of them anymore. Meaning, it should hide the blocked user from the server lists and etc.
There are people, including myself, who are in Discord servers with their friend groups that include people that they blocked. Being able to see the person in the server list, voice chat, or chat can make it uncomfortable for the person as it reminds them of an unfortunate event or trauma.
Suggestion: Maybe if we block a person, it will replace their icon with a blank icon and no status, and this stands for in the voice call/chat as well. Either that or completely invisible would be nice as well. A toggleable setting to activate/deactivate this would be ideal too.

so you want to hide the person entirely, make them look null and also not have their blocked messages appear?

I feel it could still be a choice, maybe, to see that _something_ has been said, but I agree that I do not need to be able to open a blocked user's message.
I'm on some servers with an abusive ex partner of mine, and my willpower to not open their messages and feel horrible every single time was not strong enough for months. So I avoided communities I would have loved to still be a part of.
Just having a note "a blocked person added n messages" without the fold ability would suffice; alternatively go IRC-style and just nuke them from my point of view, yes.
