Account appeals and ghosting from discord
Its been over 14 days now and I have gotten no response from discord on my ToS age violation ban. I've sent the proofs through appeals, and have yet to get the account back. I get that you may have multiple emails to go through, but simply saying, "We've started looking into this issue" would not hurt anyone. It would more so give people more reason to be patient. But instead what I have seen over these 14 days is ghosting. In the next 24 hours, my account would be permanently deleted for reasons which are not even real. Someone false reporting me for being underaged, and me presenting the proofs saying I am not should be enough of a reason to get a reply from discord. Atleast say that my issue is being sorted. There is no way I'd opt to use discord again if this is how the staff team manages emails. And given the time frame over which I've gotten no responses, I have no reason to believe that my issue is even being viewed by a staff.

I've been patiently waiting for 14 days now. I don't believe I'm getting any sort of response from discord until I do. I'm already dissatisfied as it is. 2 weeks should've been enough to even get a bot response but I have got nothing. Why am I the one suffering for a false report? Why are these actions being taken without any prior notice or warnings? Why is it so easy to false report a user for being underaged?

Isn't 14 days of patience enough? Do I have to go till a month till discord tries to look at my case? Does discord staff want to respond to the emails after the account has been deleted only to say, "the account has been deleted and we can't do anything about it?" How long must I wait till I get atleast a response mentioning my issue rather than people just telling me to be patient? Is my issue not good enough to get attention from staff?

I'm happy enough that someone looked at the issue and at least said something aside from being patient. That gives me credibility that the issue was seen by someone and that's the reason I needed to be patient moving forward. Many thanks for doing this.

Responding to your last comment, no, none of my appeals have been answered till now. Its been 16 days and the proofs have been sent from the email associated with the discord account i.e. "ashutosh.dhatwalia52@gmail.com". (I decided to comment by making a new account since I can't log in using the account that got falsely banned.)0 -

Would like to tell you again, I haven't recieved any help on the issue and no replies on my emails whatsoever. It has been almost a month. Is this how long "Trust And Safety Team" makes people wait normally?

I feel you, I was disabled for being in a server where a girl who was 14 was selling pictures, I reported the server and my and the people who did all got disabled. Still trying to appeal but not looking good. Sorry to you if you never got it back.

Avalor I would say if you've sent an appeal and its not been 3 weeks, you have hope. As for me, I already lost the account, discord still ghosting me but we move. Try reaching them on their emails, support@discordapp.com and abuse@discordapp.com. Might help getting staff's attention faster. Hope you get your account back <3
