Discord Identity/Nitro Question

I have a question about the server avatar option in the identity update; When it goes out of beta, will you be able to use it without nitro as the nickname option?

I don't imagine it'd work without Nitro, no. I've got access to beta but no Nitro, which means I'm barred from a handful of the features (such as changing my banner). I CAN however edit my about me, which seems to be intended as a free feature once out of beta.
So yeah, reckon you'll need Nitro to use it post-beta unless they change their minds and make it free. Wouldn't count on it, though. But it seems like a fun feature.

The beta is only rolled out to limited amounts of people, if you have it, you got lucky, if not, you just need to wait a little while for the update to be rolled out to everyone.

This interests me but it's been 3 months since the beta

The feature is fully out of beta, and live for all users. It is a premium nitro only feature however.

I'm updated my Discord into the latest version, it's updated yesterday. But I still don't get the access. Anyone else?
