Prevent Users from Seeing Who Else Has Access to a Channel

Sometimes, you need to make a channel, let's say for a vote. You want to post this poll in a specific channel, where no one can type. But if you give everyone access to the same channel where the vote will take place, they can just scroll through the list on the side to see everyone who can vote in the poll, they might target some of the other users to change their vote.

Having an option to permanently hide the member list of a channel would be a useful feature to limit this. I'm sure there might be other reasons to use this feature, but this is the one I need it for, so that's why I'm suggesting it.
